Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, jetzt Blind Melon. Wäre kaum noch verwunderlich, wenn im Zuge dieses kleinen 90er-Alternative-Revivals der letzten Wochen auch noch Soundgarden Reunion feiern würden. Aber dass Blind Melon sich mit "For My Friends" nach 13 Jahren zurückmelden, ist eine bemerkenswerte Seltsamkeit. Erstens starb Sänger Shannon Hoon 1995, zweitens hat die Band ihren Alternative-Rockpop kaum weiterentwickelt.
