Die beiden Anfang 30-jährigen Thes Ones und Double K, blicken auf eine stattliche Karriere zurück. Ganze sechs Alben veröffentlichten die in L.A. lebenden Rapper mit dem Hang zur Alten Schule in den letzten zehn Jahren. Chartplatzierungen spielten dabei eine eher untergeordnete Rolle. Kommerziell bedeutungslos sind "People Under The Stairs" jedoch zu einer Instanz des positiven Oldschool Vibes geworden.
