Biografie
Bedřich Smetana anhören?/i [ˈbɛdr̻ɪx ˈsmɛtana] war ein böhmischer Komponist. Sein bekanntestes Werk ist Die Moldau aus dem sinfonischen Zyklus Mein Vaterland. Bedřich Smetana wurde als achtes Kind von František Smetana geboren. Seine Mutter, des Vaters dritte Ehefrau, hieß Barbora Smetana geb. Lynková. Sein Vater war Bierbrauer im Dienst von Familien aus böhmischen Adelsgeschlechtern, wie Waldstein, Czernin und anderen. Bedřich Smetana wurde auf den Namen Friedrich getauft. Zu Hause und während seiner Schulzeit sprach Smetana stets deutsch. Erst als Erwachsener entwickelte er ein tschechisches Nationalgefühl, erlernte die tschechische Sprache... ~ de.wikipedia.org
