Biografie

Johannes Weyrauch war ein deutscher Komponist und Kantor. Er studierte unter anderem am Leipziger Konservatorium bei Sigfrid Karg-Elert und Stephan Krehl. Ab 1946 wirkte er an der Hochschule für Musik in Leipzig, zunächst als Dozent und ab 1953 als Professor. Neben Kompositionen für Klavier und Orgel schuf er kammermusikalische und geistliche Vokalwerke. ~ de.wikipedia.org
