Marina and the Diamonds ist der Künstlername der walisischen Sängerin Marina Lambrini Diamandis. Sie wurde im Vereinigten Königreich bekannt, nachdem sie bei der jährlichen Umfrage BBC Sound of 2010 als vielversprechendster Newcomer auf Platz 2 wurde. Nachdem sie eine private EP herausbrachte, wurde 2009 unter Neon Gold Records die EP The Crown Jewels veröffentlicht. Danach unterschrieb sie einen Vertrag bei 679 Recordings und nahm ihr Debütalbum The Family Jewels auf, welches im Frühjahr 2010 veröffentlicht wurde.
